Silver Foil Pink

As an illustrator and designer, Suzan Hijink is driven by curiosity and the joy of storytelling. Her art invites you to look closer, and then look again. For those who pay attention, there’s often more to discover: the use of vibrant colors, layered textures, and a keen sense for detail, she creates images that are both realistic and subtly surreal. Depth and spatiality play a key role in her compositions. She builds visual worlds that feel almost tangible. Scenes you can imagine stepping into, wandering through, and getting lost in for a moment. Suzan works across multiple disciplines, from newspaper illustrations and murals to light installations, wallpaper, and even ceramics. Food — in all its cultural, emotional, and symbolic richness — is a recurring theme in her autonomous work. Her latest series 'Veggies on the Wall' reimagines vegetables as whimsical ceramic trophies: playful, poetic, and a little bit strange.

How many rolls do I need?

One roll is 3 drops, each 48.7 cm wide, cut to length with the pattern already placed. Enter your wall and we will pick the drop that fits with the least waste.

Measure at the widest and tallest points. Do not deduct doors or windows — those drops still have to match the pattern.

NLXL

NLXL has spent the past decade redefining what wallpaper can be. Collaborating with some of the world's most influential designers—including Piet Hein Eek, Piet Boon, Studio Job, and Bethan Gray—the Dutch design house transforms raw materials, handcrafted textures, and conceptual artwork into wallcoverings that challenge convention and celebrate creativity.

Rather than repeating decorative patterns, NLXL creates immersive surfaces with remarkable depth and authenticity. Weathered timber, aged concrete, antique tin ceilings, and expressive artworks are captured with extraordinary precision, blurring the boundary between material, architecture, and art. Every collection invites you to see walls not as a backdrop, but as a design statement in their own right.
