Black Crow Studio

Black Crow Studio calls itself the antidote to the status quo — and means it literally. Founded by artist Tracy Hiner in Long Beach, California, the studio operates less like a traditional wallpaper company and more like an art studio that happens to use wallpaper as its medium. Every piece of artwork is created in-house — watercolours mixed by hand, flowers photographed fresh from the market — then digitally printed and custom-fitted to the exact flow and scale of each wall, so the same design never looks quite the same twice.

The team behind it — a self-described crew of "badass women" with backgrounds spanning interior and textile design, fashion, and entertainment — brings the same rebellious, art-first spirit to every collaboration, including Rebellion, an annual collection created with fashion students from the Academy of Art University. It's wallpaper built for people who want their walls to say something bold, personal, and entirely their own.
