Every Sandberg pattern begins the same way: drawn by hand, by illustrators at Sandberg Studio in Sweden — no exceptions, no shortcuts. It's this hand-drawn character, paired with a devotion to Swedish nature and landscape, that earned Sandberg the title of Royal Court Supplier to Sweden, a recognition reserved for design of the highest Scandinavian standard.

Founded in Ulricehamn in 1976 and carried forward since 2012 by Irene and Christofer Gimmersta, every collection carries a name and a story — people and places that inspired its creation, drawn from the brand's own archive as much as from the present. Made entirely in Sweden using FSC-certified paper and non-toxic, PVC-free inks, Sandberg's wallpapers favour calm over trend: soft palettes, botanical motifs, and an honesty between material and pattern that never goes out of style.
