Studio Lisa Bengtsson

Founded in 2007 by Swedish designer Lisa Bengtsson, this Stockholm studio began with a graduation project — a wallpaper of antique-style picture frames called "Familjen," designed to be personalized with the owner's own photographs — that became an instant, unexpected bestseller. Since then, Lisa has built a distinctive, often humorous world of pattern: dachshunds in tiaras, zebras in high heels, flying tigers, all rendered with the same motto of "unique things with love, happiness and personality." Every wallpaper is produced at the historic Ulricehamns Tapetfabrik in Sweden, where Lisa works directly with the factory's color master to fine-tune every shade by hand.
