Ginko

SKU: LC-EM-GK01-TS17002-7-7

The Ginkgo collection brings to life the timeless beauty of majestic ginkgo leaves, gracefully orchestrating the full composition with their elegant contours. Inspired by the Art Nouveau movement, where ginkgo motifs were often celebrated, this collection also honors the leaf’s symbolic presence in Chinese and Japanese literature—representing luck, longevity, and peace.

Each Gingko is meticulously hand-embroidered on a tie-dyed fabric, which reflects the changing of seasons, from lush green to rich golden yellow. The delicate embroidery is further enhanced with layers of intricate paillettes, tracing the gradation of color from the tie-dye, and shimmering like a subtle dance of light across the fabric. Paired with luxurious gold satin, the textures of the beadwork create a stunning visual feast, drawing the eye and inviting touch. The embroidered ginkgos are then appliquéd onto the wallpaper ground.

The Ginkgo collection is an exquisite celebration of nature’s elegance, bringing a sense of harmony, tranquility, and timeless beauty.

The Art of Handcrafted Wallcoverings

Ancient craftsmanship, reimagined with a playful spirit.
Where ancient artisanship meets modern whimsy

LALA CURIO brings the poetry of traditional Asian craftsmanship to the contemporary interior. Its hand-painted and embroidered wallcoverings combine Chinoiserie-inspired landscapes, delicate botanicals and unexpected details with the artistry of skilled artisans.

From hand-painted silk and gold leaf to intricate embroidery and luminous pearls, every layer adds depth, texture and a sense of discovery. The result is wallcovering that feels less like decoration—and more like a scene waiting to unfold.

Chinoiserie with a twist
Pearls, gold & unexpected details

Lala Curio

LALA CURIO creates handcrafted wallcoverings that celebrate the wonder of decorative arts. Blending generations of Asian artisanship with a playful contemporary spirit, each design transforms traditional techniques into immersive works of art—filled with rich embroidery, hand-painted details, and unexpected moments of delight.

Every wallcovering tells a story. Inspired by chinoiserie but interpreted with wit and imagination, LALA CURIO embraces bespoke craftsmanship, allowing personal details to become part of the artwork itself. It's a collection for those who appreciate extraordinary craftsmanship, yet believe luxury should always have a sense of joy.
